I know the Village is having a hard time securing the resources to overhaul the footbridge; but, the second piece of that original project may still be possible with the help of our Alcoa neighbors. The idea was to create a trail from outer Main Street to the Intake, for biking, walking, running -- what a great, safe way to better connect our residents and visitors to the beautiful St. Lawrence River!

The property is destined to become a town liability after it is gained through non payment of taxes.

The property is destined to become a town liability after it is gained through non payment of taxes.
There are multiple in ground fuel tanks at the location that will have to be removed as well as soil remediation. Who will pick up the tab for this ? The taxpayer ?

I think it would look really nice if all the trees in downtown were decorated with white lights during the Christmas season, like they do in canton.

make main street one way, flowing north, enabling easier parking for people to shop. Emergency vehicles can still reach hospital easily, as per other vehicles, e.g. fire etc.

What a boost to Massena tourism if it were advertised in bike magazines and other advertising media. That would broaden our tourist appeal!
